 The results are in from the third annual Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance (ORCGA) Locate Rodeo, which were held in June. Organized by ORCGA, the Locate Rodeo is open to locate technicians throughout the province. Up to 40 technicians could compete to display their skills in locating.

ADC says its patent infringement suit against AFL Telecommunications has been settled, and AFL has been added as another licensee to certain patents pertaining to ADC’s fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) technology. ADC’s patent technology relates to fiber distribution hubs and optical splitter modules for the FTTP environment.

Kendall Law Group is investigating ADC Telecommunications Inc. for shareholders in connection with the proposed acquisition by Tyco Electronics. The national securities firm’s investigation seeks to determine whether ADC and its board breached their fiduciary duties by entering into the agreement without properly shopping for a deal that would provide better value for shareholders.
