 Belden announced two new additions to its line of DataTuff industrial Ethernet cables for industrial data networks and plant floor control. Belden Category 5e DataTuff shielded twisted pair continuous flex cable—product no SI7938A—is rated for use in continuous motion machinery, such as C-Track and festoon systems, as well as robotics frequently used in discrete manufacturing and automated assembly lines. Belden Cat 5e DataTuff shielded twisted pair cable—product no 7939A—features a flexible, stranded and shielded construction to resist machine and plant floor vibration, along with superior noise immunity, says the company.
