Corning Cable introduces single-fiber port cleaners |

Corning Cable Systems says its single-fiber port cleaners are proven effective for removing common contaminates such as skin oil, fine dust particulates and liquid residues from connector end-faces loaded in adapters and cable assemblies. The cleaners offer more than 525 cleanings per unit, and clean standard connector styles, such as SC, ST Compatible, FC, E2000, LC and OptiTap. The tool’s nozzle design ensures proper alignment for cleaning connectors in adapters and enclosures, while the dust cap has a lid that opens to accept the ferrule for cleaning cable assemblies.
