October 15, 2009 D-Link launched its “Gloves Are Off” promotion for its value-added resellers (VARs) in Canada and the U.S. The company is offering a “ring-load” of instant rebates, spiffs and a grand prize trip to Las Vegas to see the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC 108) in January 2010 (various conditions apply). Up to $300 Reward Card spiffs are being offered on wireless, storage and surveillance product bundles, and spiffs and instant rebates from $25 to $200 can be earned on the sale of wireless access points (APs) and bridges, and D-Link’s range of 24- and 48-port managed—and 16-port unmanaged—switches.
