 In the construction of industrial automation control panels and machine structures, new flat braided bonding straps are recommended for applications where control of high frequency noise, motion and high vibration are important. Panduit says flat braided bonding straps have been shown to help mitigate the effects of EMI (electromagnetic interference) caused by VFD’s (variable frequency drives), motors and other components that can degrade the performance, reliability and safety of industrial automation systems. Panduit says its flat braided bonding straps have high-quality seamless ferrule ends that provide improved mechanical strength and performance. Flat braided bonding straps should be directed to the control panel designers and builders, and other industries where required.
