ICC offers new product line card

International Computer and Communication Systems’ new product line card is a condensed version of its full-line product catalogue, capturing its structured cabling product lines. The full-colour line card features ICC’s new Cat 6A modular connectors, patch panels and patch cords. Also, it highlights the company’s new 10 Gig fiber optic MPO plug-n-play solutions. Contractors and installers now have a convenient way to search and order ICC products fast, says the company.

Russound and HAI team up

Russound, distributor of multiroom audio and video systems, and Home Automation Inc., manufacturer of integrated automation and security products, have signed an agreement that allows the two to collaborate in a new program called “EnCompass”.

ADC InterReach Fusion System for Canadian Market

ADC has a new version of its InterReach Fusion in-building cellular system tailored specifically for Canadian cellular providers. The new system supports 800 iDEN/SMR, 850MHz cellular and 1900MHz frequencies, and will accommodate all Canadian carriers, including: Bell Mobility, Rogers and Telus. First deployment of the new InterReach Fusion system is at the Vancouver Convention Centre Expansion, site of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

BICSI adds new online courses

BICSI Connect—the online interactive learning network for information transport systems (ITS) professionals—recently added 10 new courses to its roster. The courses, all regarding the subject of safety, intend to educate students on how to prevent accidents and promote protection in the workplace environment. Provided with the flexibility of 24/7 Web-based training, students have the ability to earn continuing education credits (CECs) at their own pace—without incurring travel expenses—and at a reduced cost compared to traditional classes.
