Hatfield replaces Bowick on SCTE Foundation board PDF Print E-mail

Scott A. Hatfield of Cox Communications has been appointed to the SCTE Foundation board, filling a vacancy created when Christopher Bowick retired from Cox Communications and resigned from the board this past summer. Bowick, who has been an SCTE member since 1981, was senior vice-president, engineering and CTO with Cox.

Hatfield is responsible for Cox’s integrated technology organization, which includes all aspects of information technology and engineering. He is charged with the design, development, operation, and continuous improvement of a seamless technology platform to power Cox’s products and services. This includes the complete set of products, including video, data, wireline voice, and wireless. Hatfield is also charged with all of Cox’s internal systems, including systems for customer care and enterprise operations. He joined Cox as its CIO in January 1996.
