Berkeley and AirPatrol form partnership PDF Print E-mail
October 7, 2009

Berkeley Varitronics Systems AirPatrol Corp. have partnered to help “global 1000 companies enforce ‘no wireless’ policies in their buildings”. Berkeley will sell AirPatrol’s wireless locator system (WLS) throughout North America along with its Yellowjacket b/a/n/g tablet analyzer to help secure facilities that have ‘no wireless’ policies.

AirPatrol’s WLS sensors warn security managers of potential wireless threats in the protected perimeter and a security alert is sent out via email or text to the guard on duty. The suspect target is depicted in real-time on a map by unique signal strength triangulation techniques, and can be monitored closely for position and any suspicious activities.
