| Exfo releases collection of expert reference materials |

October 22, 2009 Exfo has released a collection of reference material created by its team of experts “to help address key next-generation network challenges”. This release will be followed by a series of educational activities such as webinars, roadshows, seminars, etc. In fact, Exfo’s CTO, Vikas Arora, will be hosting a free webinar entitled “Assessing Next-Gen Networks throughout the Technology Lifecycle” on November 3 between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm (Eastern Time). This also coincides with the inauguration of the Expertise Hub—a new section of the Exfo website—which addresses technological developments through current media. It contains a variety of material, ranging from animated diagrams and videos to webinars and technical articles. People browsing the Expertise Hub can also contact specific experts directly. Topics in the Expertise Hub include things like: 40 and 100 Gbit/s transmission; fiber-to-the-home (FTTH); ethernet and wireless backhaul network upgrades; internet multimedia subsystems and voice-over-Internet protocol (IMS/VoIP); triple-play testing; and service assurance.
