 Greenlee’s compact, hand-held NETcat Micro NC-100 digital VDV wiring tester verifies the integrity of shielded/unshielded twisted-pair cables, coax and telephone wiring. Using high-speed digital technology, the tester has four durable keys to select the test and wire tracing modes. It detects shorts, opens, reversed polarity, crossed and split pairs, and warns of hazardous voltages. It also generates three distinct, selectable precision tone patterns for cable tracing and troubleshooting. A range of tracing tone options helps you track and identify high-performance Cat 5, 6 or 7 wiring. Test results are shown on a backlit display, while a nested remote allows end-to-end testing of all wiring types—in the same room or at a far jack.
