D-Link has promoted Nick Tidd to president of D-Link North America.

Previously assuming the dual role of vice-president of sales for D-Link Pan America and vice-president of marketing for D-Link North America, D-Link says Tidd has focused on making operations more efficient and on selling customer-centric solutions... all while fostering a sense of empowerment and accountability among employees. He brings more than two decades of corporate and IT experience with him to lead the company into the next decade of growth.

“Being a part of D-Link has been one of the most personally rewarding and professionally fulfilling experiences of my career. I’m excited about driving the company to reach its full potential as we increasingly attract more brand agnostic and value-conscious customers,” said Tidd. “As we continue to build a vibrant and diverse company with a spirited and competitive staff, I am looking forward to further building upon that winning energy; we are only just beginning to realize the possibilities of what we can accomplish.”

In related news, Mark Ciprietti is the new vice-president and general manager of business solutions sales for D-Link Canada. With more than 25 years of experience in IT sales, Ciprietti is expected to apply his unique perspective and knowledge of all sales channels to lead business growth in Canada.
