Server Technology CWG-24V2 Switched POPS CDU with mixed outlets

July 13, 2009 Server Technology’s switched CDU combines network configuration and management with power distribution, environmental monitoring and the ability to provide power monitoring per an individual outlet/device. Power information per outlet includes current, voltage, power (kW), apparent power (VA), crest factor and power factor. You can reboot a single- or dual-power server with one command, and receive SNMP or e-mail-based alerts when power or environmental conditions exceed thresholds. You can also assign user-specific access rights to designated outlets or groups. This switched CDU has top entry for network, serial and environmental connections, combined with a bottom power cord entry. Current monitors are inverted via the web GUI or serial interface, providing flexibility when connecting switched CDUs to overhead power or busways. Among the additional features is support for two external, 10-ft temperature/humidity probes. Receive SNMP-based alerts or email notifications when conditions exceed defined thresholds.
